Governor’s Message

JACL’s guiding principle, ‘Security through Unity,’ motivates me and our district to encompass three key components of action
to ensure our mission statement stays relevant in these challenging times:
  • Social justice and advocacy monitoring hate crimes, inequity, and civil rights
  • Educating about the Japanese American incarceration experience and Japanese American culture
  • Collaborating with local organizations that represent other minority ethnicities.
Join me by becoming a member to address these challenges and help our community be strong and resilient.
