Governor’s Message

JACL’s guiding principle, ‘Security through Unity,’ motivates me and our district to encompass three key components of action to ensure our mission statement stays relevant in these challenging times:

Social justice and advocacy monitoring hate crimes, inequity, and civil rights.
Educating about the Japanese American incarceration experience and Japanese American culture
Collaborating with local organizations that represent other marginalized communitites.
